Riedman is founded in Rochester, New York, specializing in real estate development, construction, and property management.
1999
Officially broke ground on our first community, The Hammocks at Southern Hills in Perinton NY.
2006
Riedman acquires WoodsEdge Apartment Homes in Painted Post, expanding our portfolio with another exceptional community.
2018
Acquired a substantial portfolio in Erie, Pennsylvania, including multiple apartment communities such as Willowood Village Apartments & Townhomes and Laurel Spring Apartments. This strategic acquisition expanded Riedman’s footprint and reinforced its commitment to providing quality housing solutions in the region.
2019
Riedman awarded in the Kingsley Excellence Award for outstanding performance in individual communities.
2022
In 2022, Riedman adopted LISA AI, an artificial intelligence-powered leasing assistant, to enhance our operations. LISA helps automate routine tasks such as responding to inquiries, scheduling showings, and data entry. By streamlining these administrative duties, LISA allows our teams to focus on what matters most—serving our residents and communities—while providing 24/7 availability to prospective tenants.

Completed Six67 College Avenue, a four-story apartment community in Elmira designed for LECOM students and young professionals, reflecting Riedman’s commitment to strategic partnerships, community-driven development, and regional growth.

Acquired Town Hall Terrace in Grand Island, NY on April 15, expanding Riedman’s footprint and marking a significant milestone in our growth strategy.

Completed Kilbourn Place on East, a 118-unit apartment community in Pittsford, NY. This project was recognized with the 2024 CoStar Impact Award for multifamily development of the year in Rochester.

Riedman made the strategic decision to close its Riedman Homes division to focus exclusively on its rental multifamily operations. This shift allows the company to deepen its expertise, provide exceptional support to its existing communities, and expand its portfolio by building new, innovative communities that meet the evolving needs of residents.
