Is Parking Available?
Parking at our community is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Reserved parking spaces are limited to those with valid handicapped permits, and these areas are clearly marked with signage. Please note that any vehicle parked unlawfully in a designated space may be towed at the owner’s expense. Thank you for your cooperation in keeping our community accessible for all.
For those seeking additional parking, on-site garages are available for $160–$200 per month, depending on size. For more details or to reserve a space, please contact our leasing office.
What’s your pet policy? / Is the property pet-friendly?
We are positively pet-friendly! Â We allow a maximum of two pets per home. Please review the fees and restrictions outlined below:

Is Renter’s Insurance Required?
Yes, renter’s insurance is required for all residents at The Hammocks at Canandaigua. While our property insurance covers the building, it does not cover your personal belongings in case of theft, fire, or natural events. Renter’s insurance is a straightforward, affordable way to protect your items from unexpected loss or damage. Before moving into your new home, please secure your own renter’s insurance policy. This coverage is designed to safeguard your possessions, with premiums based on the value of your furniture and other belongings. You can find a policy by speaking with one of our team members or contacting your local insurance agent.
Does The Hammocks at Canandaigua offer flexible leases?
No. At this time, The Hammocks at Canandaigua is only accepting 12-month leases.
How do I Apply?
Applications are available on our website and can be found on the floor plan detail page that has an available unit for rent. Or you are welcome to visit our office. Any applicant who meets our tenancy screening requirements is eligible for a lease offer; however, by submitting an application, a lease offer is not guaranteed. Lease offers are based on apartment availability and issued on a first-come, first-served basis.
Are Utilities Included?
Internet is included in your rent. Utilities such as Gas, Electric, Water, Sewer, Trash and Phone are not included in the rental fees. You will need to set up any additional utilities in your name and arrange for activation before your move-in date.

What additional fees can I expect to be charged when signing my lease?
When signing your lease, you will be responsible for the following:
Security Deposit: The security deposit is equal to one month’s rent and is due on or before the date the lease contract is signed. This fee is due upon move-in and is refundable at the end of your lease term, less lawful deduction. Additional deposits may be applicable due to credit screening results.
Holding Fee – a $350 will be due upon application approval and will be refundable with first full months rent.

Do you offer resident referrals?

When is rent due? How do I pay rent?
Rent payments are due on the first of each month and considered late after the fifth. You can pay rent through your resident portal with a debit/credit card or e-check.
