Pet Policy

We understand your dogs & cats are part of your family, and they’ll feel right at home at The Hammocks at Millcreek. Here’s what to expect with our pet policies and fees:

  • Non-refundable fee of $350 (per pet)
  • Monthly fee of $40 per pet
  • Maximum two pets
  • Weight limit: 70lbs

*Restricted breeds and their mixes include: Akita, American Bulldog, Chow, Dalmatian, Doberman, German Shepherd, Husky, Rottweiler, Staffordshire Terrier/Pit Bull, Wolf hybrids, and others as determined by management.

Is Parking Available?

Parking at our community is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Reserved parking spaces are limited to those with valid handicapped permits, and these areas are clearly marked with signage. Please note that any vehicle parked unlawfully in a designated space may be towed at the owner’s expense. Thank you for your cooperation in keeping our community accessible for all.

For those interested in additional parking options, we also offer on-site garages for $195 per month. For more information or to reserve a space, please contact our leasing office.

What’s your pet policy? / Is the property pet-friendly?

We are positively pet-friendly!  We allow a maximum of two pets per home.

Does The Hammocks at Millcreek offer flexible leases?

No. At this time, The Hammocks at Millcreek is only accepting 12-month leases.

Is Renter’s Insurance Required?

Yes, renter’s insurance is required for all residents at The Hammocks at Millcreek. While our property insurance covers the building, it does not cover your personal belongings in case of theft, fire, or natural events. Renter’s insurance is a straightforward, affordable way to protect your items from unexpected loss or damage.

Before moving into your new home, please secure your own renter’s insurance policy. This coverage is designed to safeguard your possessions, with premiums based on the value of your furniture and other belongings. You can find a policy by speaking with one of our team members or contacting your local insurance agent.

Are Utilities Included?

Cable and internet are included in your rent. Utilities such as Gas, Electric, Water, and Phone are not included in the rental fees. However, gas, electric, water, and phone services are not and will be your responsibility. You will need to set up any additional utilities in your name and arrange for activation before your move-in date.

How do I Apply?

Applications are available on our website and can be found on the floor plan detail page that has an available unit for rent. Or you are welcome to visit our office. Any applicant who meets our tenancy screening requirements is eligible for a lease offer; however, by submitting an application, a lease offer is not guaranteed. Lease offers are based on apartment availability and issued on a first-come, first-served basis.

Where is The Hammocks at Millcreek leasing office located?

The leasing office is located at the community clubhouse when you first pull in located at 4500 Hammocks Drive, Erie, PA 16506 

When is rent due? How do I pay rent?

Rent payments are due on the first of each month and considered late after the fifth. You can pay rent through your resident portal  with a debit/credit card or e-check.

What additional fees can I expect to be charged when signing my lease?

When signing your lease, you will be responsible for the following:

Security Deposit: The security deposit is equal to one month’s rent and is due on or before the date the lease contract is signed. This fee is due upon move-in and is refundable at the end of your lease term, less lawful deduction. Additional deposits may be applicable due to credit screening results.

Admin Fee (non-refundable) – $350 – Residents will be charged a one-time service fee is required to hold a specific apartment.

First Month’s Rent: – The first month’s rent is also due at move-in.

Do you offer resident referrals?

Yes, we do! We believe friends make the best neighbors. Our resident referral program is always available. Please reach out to the leasing staff for more details.

Do you offer Furnished Apartments?

If you’re in need of short-term accommodation for relocation, a temporary business assignment, or simply visiting the area, The Hammocks at Millcreek offers convenient, pleasant, and affordable options with flexible lease terms.
